BIRDING BY BUS

Aves Desde el Autobús
The Lahontan Audubon Society is pleased to introduce the Birding By Bus program in partnership with the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC). The Reno/Sparks metropolitan area is home to multiple parks, each hosting a plethora of bird species. Many of these parks are within walking distance of RTC RIDE bus stops. A map with our favorite parks to enjoy birding is below. Each park map is marked with interactive informational symbols about its features and birding opportunities. All the symbols and their meanings are listed on the included map key. Check our calendar for future events through the Birding By Bus program. Our thanks to RTC for support of the program.
