Lahontan Audubon Society is pleased to offer a variety of activities relating to birds, bird education, and conservation  We support citizen science through involvement in the Audubon Christmas Bird Counts.  ​

Colombia, home to close to 2,000 bird species, including 90 endemic and 193 near-endemic birds, is a premier destination for birders, naturalists, and wildlife photographers. Join Lahontan Audubon Society and Crescentia Expeditions as we explore and learn about the unique avifauna of the Western and Central Andes in Colombia. We will explore spectacular landscapes, from high-altitude p​áramos to subtropical cloud forests. Immerse yourself in the diverse wildlife and ecosystems of the northern Andes. This itinerary offers a unique blend of birding, cultural insights, and ecological discoveries each day!
