![]() Leaders: Valerie Andersen and Kath Giel Date: Tuesday, April 27th Time: 9:15-11:45 AM We will be starting at Damonte Ranch Park and exploring all around the public ponds, wetlands, and open spaces within the Damonte Ranch neighborhood. Likely bird sightings include Avocets, Black-necked Stilts, Egrets, Cinnamon Teals, Ruddy Ducks, Northern Shovelers, and Northern Harriers. We will ride around the Damonte Ranch multi-use trails, stopping at various ponds and waterways to bird. The approximate trip length is 7-8 miles on flat terrain. All but one mile will be on segregated bike paths. Bring your own bicycle and birdwatching gear. Masks are mandatory. Water and sunscreen are recommended, along with a bike helmet.
