 Image courtesy of Pixabay. Our May Membership Meeting will be happening on May 24th at 7pm. This month's theme is Adventures in Namibia with Mike and Cindy Goddard.
Mike Goddard and his wife, Cindy, have traveled extensively in South and Central America. After a 2020 trip to South Africa was cancelled, they set their sights on a trip to Namibia in the fall of 2021. They spent 17 days visiting the Namib Sand Sea, the coastal town of Swakopmund, the reck rock country of Damaraland, and Etosha and Waterberg National Parks. They saw amazing wildlife and had a wonderful time. They will be sharing their adventures and incredible photos from their trip. About the Speaker: Mike Goddard is the former Refuge Manager of Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge (retired in 2012), a member of the LAS Board of Trustees and the Education Committee.
