Professional Photographer Kirby Flanagan, gives a workshop on how he composes a bird photography and captures it in the field. This talk is about improving your bird photography and graduating from snapshots to much better shots. The advent of digital photography has made this much easier. But to do this requires some knowledge of camera operations like settings for shutter speed, f/stop and ISO which most cameras and smartphones can do these days. Beyond that it helps to understand light, composition and gesture. By the end of this talk, you’ll have a better understanding of why some photographs catch your eye and others don’t and a better understanding of how to get there.
