Seeking Volunteers for Mark WellWan Adventure Day!

We are excited to have LAS be invited as a guest to Mark Wellman Adventure day! Mark Wellman Adventure day is an event where disabled people are given the opportunity to try adventures sports, such as rock climbing and kayaking, for free at Sparks Marina. Birdwatching was included under the organizers' definition of adventure sports so LAS will be tabling at the event.

This tabling event will be different. We are currently seeking volunteers to help out with this event. In addition to the standard tabling roles (such as giving away LAS business cards and answering questions) we will be letting people try out binoculars, and taking them on small "bird walks" where they can look at some of the marina's many avian residents.
